Register to bid in-person during the auction preview on December 10, or the day of sale.
Online bidding available for those not attending in-person. A $1,000 credit card bid deposit is required at time of registration for online bidding.
Registration to bid online begins Tuesday, December 3, and closes December 11, at 9:00 am PT /12:00 pm ET. Pre-bidding for online bidders begins Monday, December 9, 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET and closes just prior to the start of the live auction. Once the auction goes live at 10:00am PT / 1:00pm ET, internet bidders can participate online against those attending the auction in-person.

How to Register to Bid In-Person at the Live Auction:
Register to bid in-person for the live auction during the preview on December 10, or the morning of the auction December 11.
An up-front deposit is not required to participate in the auction, if attending in person. However, an immediate $10,000 cash, credit card or cashier’s check deposit is required once total purchases reach $10,000 the day of sale.
Registration to participate in the auction via online bidding is ONLY for those who will be participating online and WILL NOT be attending in-person at the auction.
Participating online requires participants to have an online bidding account set-up with CWS Marketing Group.
A $1,000 credit card bid deposit is required to participate via online simulcast bidding. The deposit is automatically taken at the time of online registration with the credit card on file. The deposit will be applied to invoice totals. If the total amount purchased is less than the deposit, a partial refund for the difference will be made. If no purchases are made, the deposit is voided.
Registration to participate online closes at 8am PT, the day of the auction.

Bid in-person in Riverside, CA
Those that wish to participate at the live auction event will need to register at the facility either during the auction preview or the day of the auction.
A government issued photo ID is required to complete registration.
Upon completion of in-person registration, bidders will receive an auction catalog, along with a bidder number, which is used to participate in the auction.
Each registered bidder is solely responsible for the use of his/her bidder number and any use by another person is presumed to be with the consent of and contractually binding on the registered bidder.
Online Bidding:
After creating an account at cwsmarketing.com, please allow up to 24 hours for account approval.
Login to your account and click “Register to Bid” during auction registration to complete registration. For online bidding, auction registration typically starts 4-7 days prior to the auction.
Pre-bids are able to be submitted prior to the start of the live Online auction (see below).
On the day of the live auction, approved bidders who have completed registration will be able to participate in the live bidding and bid in real-time against those bidders attending the auction in person.
Audio and/or video feeds of the live auction may be provided as a courtesy to online bidders.
On the auction catalog page Click on VIEW LIVE SALE NOW button and the first lot will display on your screen. The VIEW LIVE SALE NOW button will appear just prior to the designated starting time for the live auction.
The auctioneer will introduce the first auction lot and start the bidding with the highest Pre-Bid or a live floor bid. Online bidders will need to watch the screen for current bids and the next increment the auctioneer is asking for.
The online auction system might signal FAIR WARNING prior to the auction lot closing. Bidding goes very quickly, therefore please pay attention to the current bids on your screen. Bidders are strongly encouraged to not delay in submitting online bids, as the auctioneer can close bidding on any lot at their discretion.
When a lot is sold or passed, this will be listed on the bidding platform, and the next lot will appear on screen and will be open for bidding.
Receipt of all bids is at the discretion of the auctioneer. In the case of a tie bid, precedence is given to in-person floor bidders.
In the case of technical difficulties, or a change in the auction/lot status, bidders will be notified via email or directly through the online platform. It is the bidder’s responsibility to pay attention to bidding and be aware of any auction or lot updates.
CWS, Amentum and The U.S. Treasury are not responsible for technical difficulties, and auction participants will hold harmless the above for any technical difficulties that may arise.
