NOTICE: AT 4001 currently has a USCG 835’s (violations) and a Captain of the Port order preventing them from transit from where they’re currently berthed. The 835s are: (3) Certificate of Financial Responsibility, (2) Vessel Response Plan, (3) Security Plan; USCG is requiring an evaluation by licensed tankerman to verify cargo tank conditions prior to release. The Buyer is responsible, at their expense, for addressing the USCG 835 violations and for having the COTP order released.
- LIENS: Any recorded liens will be paid for and cleared by the government. The release of liens may cause a delay in transfer of title but will not impact the buyer being able to take posession of a barge, which can occur once payment in full is made. The buyer has ten business days from the date of receipt of the Title Transfer documents (Coast Guard Bill of Sale or Government Form SF-97) to sign for and take posession of the property. Any continued storage from the tenth business day of delivery of the title documents to the buyer is strictly between the buyer and storage vendor and is at the expense and liability of the buyer.
- HIGH BID APPROVAL: The high bid for each lot will be submitted to the government for approval following the close of the auction. The government may take up to 72 hours to confirm the high bidder and approve the high bid amount.
